GetAMilker.co.nz is a recruitment broker that connects New Zealand dairy farmers with farm workers looking for fulltime or relief milking work through its website.

We have been operating since 2009 and have managed thousands of individual milkings. We are farmers ourselves and have developed a system designed to make it easy for clients to have access to temporary labour quickly and when they need a worker to help manage their daily workload or have that all important time away from the farm with family or friends.

Over the years we have hired around 450 people and have a database of just over 700 farmer clients. We get to know our clients and collect as much information as we need, so we can deal with any issue that may arise when they are away, such as a power outage, plant breakdown to a veterinary issue.

Once you have signed up and we have all your details we strive to simply make things simple for you. Regular users of our service would have 2-3 milkers trained in the operation of their cowshed. If you like a particular milker you can simply book the dates you want online, and if that person is available the booking will be confirmed straightaway where you will then receive a conformation text message and email.
