We have lots of experience at finding the right relief milkers and farm workers for you and your business. We have a large database of contacts and are generally able to assign you with a milker straight away. Our milkers know we can provide them with regular and ongoing work, and that is why many of them have been with us for a number of years.

Our relief milkers and farm workers are selected through a strict selection process and over the years we have developed a selection process that weeds out time wasters. We target people that are currently in work rather than people that are jumping between jobs.

We take care of all the administration involved and make all tax payments to the IRD on behalf of the relief milkers and farm workers registered on our books. You are issued with a G.S.T invoice from our system where it could not be any easier! We provide all our clients and milkers with a toll free number, and on farm support in the Waikato if there is an emergency. Communication is an important aspect in hiring any staff. We have a proven system, and when followed by our clients it assists them in reducing on farm risks when engaging temporary farm labour.

Our billing cycle and roster system runs Monday to Sunday where you will receive your invoice and a text message and summary of who is coming to your property on the Sunday evening.

What about health & safety

Consulting with our milkers on health & safety is a legal requirement under the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015. All clients must carry out a shed orientation and health & safety induction before services commence.

How do I know who has been assigned to my farm

Upon making a booking via the website a text message and email will be sent to you as the client. In the email will be the milkers name, phone number and a summary of what days you have booked a milker for.

Can I choose the milker I want

Yes you can choose the milker you want! You may choose any milker you want where the booking will be processed straight away if that person is available. If that person is currently booked on all or some of the days you have chosen, you will be notified and the booking will go through to the administrator so your booking can be assigned to a milker that is available.

Can I cancel or modify any of my dates for milkings that are booked in.

There are limited circumstances in which a client can cancel a booking as providing the milkers with regular and ongoing work is vital to what we do. However, modifying days is generally permitted provided that we are given 10 workings days notice in writing.

What happens if I am not happy with the job that the milker assigned to my farm has done.

It is important that you contact us immediately if you are unhappy with the performance of a milker assigned to your farm. If the milker's performance is an issue we require written notice of the issue(s) you have within 48 hours of the job being completed.

What do I do with cows that are on antibiotics when I have a relief milker working on my farm?

Cows on antibiotics must be run in a separate herd to the milking herd which is close to the cowshed. They must also have leg bands on, be painted red on the udder and written instructions must be left for the milker to follow.

Confirming a booking with the milker assigned to my farm

When a booking is confirmed the client and the milker must get in touch with each other as soon as possible. Do not leave contact until just before you go away. If you think the milker will be required to drench or feed out when working on your farm this must be stated to the milker immediately. You must leave written instructions and any contact phone numbers for the milker.

How do I pay my account

Invoices are all emailed out from our website. Our billing and roster cycle runs Monday to Sunday. If, for example you have a booking which runs into the following week you will receive two invoices.
